The CRCD values our many partnerships and capitalizes on our collective strength to create the best, most effective programs for our constituents. We have facilitated and participated in many collaborative efforts within the county and statewide. We can facilitate meetings, mediate conflicts, prepare educational materials and design training programs.

Updated Homeowners Guide to Fire

CRCD just released an updated Homeowner’s Guide to Fire in Santa Barbara County, in English and Spanish. The guide is a compilation of information and resources funded by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection as part of the California Climate Investments Program.

San Antonio Groundwater Sustainability Agency

Watershed Education for Fifth Graders

In 2014 CRCD was awarded a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to conduct a hands-on watershed education project for fifth graders in Guadalupe. CRCD’s partnered with the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Center and Mary Buren Elementary School.
