The CRCD and NRCS produced several videos to instruct growers on the use of the soil nitrate quick test (SNQT). This test is designed to provide rapid results on the amount of residual nitrate present in the soil and available for immediate crop needs. It is designed to be used prior to mid-season fertilizer applications. The video is available in a short and long version in English, and a short version in Spanish.
